FILM ANALYSIS: Parasite

Diversity was shown in the narrative of three families switching between classes is told in
the film Parasite. The characters' actions and perspectives depict how their surroundings
reflect their social standing and how classism and social stratification are practiced in that
culture. It is possible to see the topographical evidence of classism in South Korea by
watching the film and investigating the significance of the characters' journeys between the
three homes where they reside. These character movements through the environment
produce a good study of socioeconomic stratification, from the neighborhood, streets, entry,
house, and vistas outside the house to the cleanliness and scents inside the house.
Because production design differs from architecture, the homes in Parasite are filled with
furnishings and backdrops that represent various social classes in South Korea. The movie
Parasite depicts the lives of three families in South Korea that change economic classes
with each other. The characters' actions and points of view demonstrate how the culture
they live in practices classism and class structure. By analyzing plot lines' wanderings
between their homes, one can see evidence of economic inequality. Because of the
distinction between architecture and interior design, homes in Parasite are adorned with
interiors and cityscapes that represent various classes of society in Korea.

In Identity groups the film tells the story of two distinct families. Kim Ki-woo (Choi Woo-sik)
and his family are living in extreme poverty in an undisclosed city's impoverished area.
They keep the windows open while the area is being fumigated so they can cope with their
own infestation, steal wi-fi from the local coffee shop, and fold pizza boxes for a delivery
firm to generate some extra money. When a buddy offers to propose Kim Ki-woo as an
English tutor for a girl he's been working with because the friend needs to leave the nation
for a bit, Kim Ki-life woo's is forever changed. The Parks and Kims are like one another.
The Park Family, who are from a wealthy family, are in opposition to them.

Valuing diversity was shown when (Kim ki-taek) was looking for a job as a driver in that
affluent family, and he was examined by its boss, the father of (da song) named (park dong
ik), who bought a glass of coffee in the car while the applicant (Kim ki-taek) was driving.
The goal of bringing a cup of coffee is to see if the person seeking for the job is qualified for
it. But then he performs an outstanding job by not spilling any of the coffee for which he
was congratulated for being a wonderful driver.

Hidden identities were in the movie when the maid (moon gwang) that looks like a perfect
housekeeper who has lived in that wealthy family's home for so long has a secret. She has
been keeping her spouse in the basement near the booze store. And she was keeping him
there covertly so he could look after it and feed him because they didn't have a place to
reside. The house's owner was unaware of it.

The film depicted Social Cognitive Theory. This film is an affirmation of this very real yet
ordinary characteristic of contemporary Asian life. In Asian societies, the rich and the poor
feed off from each other and have done so for thousands of years with few instances of
outright rebellion. Even today, many middle- and upper-class Asian households have live-in
maids and hired help, and chauffeurs are not uncommon among businessmen and CEOs.
Tuition classes are the norm for Asian kids, with private home tutors the preserve of the
well-heeled. Within the domestic sphere, such employees share living and working spaces
with their employers daily without question; they also sometimes have conversations that
are intensely personal, which makes it tough for an employer’s private life not to be known
to his or her domestic help. It depicts the rich's appreciation for every raindrop that falls
since it is pleasant weather for them, meanwhile the poor's lives are depicted as they
struggle in rainstorms. How the water destroyed their home, how their belongings became
soaked and ruined.

Social Categorization is where we group related people and items to understand and
recognize them. there was a scene in the movie in which the kid (da-song) noticed that
everyone that works for them who were under cover workers to their house were family. He
notices that everyone smells the same. And during a BBQ feast to celebrate the windfall of
jobs, Mr. Kim openly acknowledges how the amount of money coming from the Park family
into theirs is immense. He then offers a prayer of gratitude to wealthy patriarch Mr. Park.
Despite being aware of the great disparity of wealth and privilege between their families,
Mr. Kim expresses no envy or bitterness. He knows that without Mr. Park, they would not
be able to better their lot in life so if the latter is a benevolent employer.
