DAY 1
Write about a place that you like studying in (e.g. a café)
I like studying in the school library. This is a quiet place and there are many useful books. Moreover, the
library is also a place that makes me more motivated and interested in learning. Here, people cannot speak
too loudly or listen to music at high volume. These things help me study more focused and effective.
DAY 2
Why do teens spend so much time playing video games? What makes these games so much fun to play?
The truth is that today's young people like to play games because the games are very interesting. They
have very eye-catching graphic design, and the gameplay is also very interesting. The rules sometimes do
not follow any pattern, and this stimulates the curiosity and creativity of the players. From an original
game by the publisher, many players have developed their own ways of playing. In addition, online games
can also help young people meet and make friends with friends far away.

What is your most indispensable possession and why?

For me, the most indispensable possession is my cell phone. Smartphones today are very versatile; I can use it to do the work
of drafting, reading documents or sending information. In addition, it is also an item to help me entertain after hours of
studying and working. Most importantly, mobile phones help me communicate with others conveniently and quickly

Do we have a fair educational system?
Currently, we are enjoying a relatively fair education system. Everyone, of all ages and genders, has an equal right to

education. The State and local authorities have policies to support and help all citizens to go to school. Even people with

disabilities have suitable schools where they can study.

Modern technology is creating a single world culture. This is because it is now much easier to
communicate with people who are far away. Satellite TV, modern transportation, and the Internet have all
brought people closer together. People the world over share the same sources of information and this leads
to the creation of a single world culture.

Because TV is broadcast by satellite, TV programs can be received anywhere in the world. Now people in
every part of the world can have access to all the same TV programs. Everybody knows that TV is one of
the biggest cultural influences there is. When people everywhere see the same news, educational, and
entertainment programs, they move toward the development of a single world culture.

Because modern methods of transportation are fast, a trip to a faraway place becomes easy. People from
all different places are together more now than they ever were before. They can see how people in other
countries dress, eat, and spend their time. People have more exposure to customs from other countries
and might start to adopt some of those customs. This also contributes to the development of a single
world culture.

Because of the Internet, people have access to information and news from all over the world. They can
communicate easily with people far away and share sources of information. This can do a lot toward
international understanding but it can also have another result. When people share sources of information
on the Internet, they come more and more under the same cultural influence. They move toward the
creation of a single world culture.

Modern communications technology has brought people from all around the world closer together.
People these days have more and more opportunities to share ideas and information. In this way they are
coming more and more under the same cultural influence. A single world culture is being created.

I don’t really agree with this statement. Nowadays, many technology companies have been built and modern production

technologies are applied to lower the cost of technological products. For example, in the 90s of the last century, a family had

to save a whole year to buy a TV, now a family only needs to spend a month's salary to buy a TV with most of the modern

technology. Therefore, technology items are no longer a luxury item for people to see if a child can keep up with friends or

not. And it is true that it is more than a luxury item, it is not only displayed in exhibitions but also widely applied in study and

work. Many new technologies mean a lot of things we don't know, and when something breaks, we can't fix it ourselves.

However, tech stores are willing to fix them at a very favorable price. In a way, modern technology can add complications to

our life, but in other ways it makes our life more interesting and colorful.
