What is the significance of the NSTP Law in student training?
Student’s Answer:

In learning something, be it a skill or a course, basic rules and steps are the
most important to know first because we can't start doing something if we don't
learn its fundamentals. It's the same with the NSTP Law; it consists of the first
principles that every student should know before starting the training. It prepares
the students for what they are getting in the course.

The NSTP Law aims to enhance civic consciousness and defense preparedness
by developing ethics of service and patriotism. Learning this goal will help the
students have the initiative to pass through the same course path. Also, there are
three components; ROTC prepares the students for national defense, CWTS helps
them contribute to the general welfare, and LTS trains to teach literacy and
numeracy skills to children. The students must know the difference between these
three since they will have to choose what to take. Lastly, knowing the duration of
the course, which they should take in two semesters with 54-90 hours each, will
make students aware of how much time they need to spend on the course and
manage their schedules beforehand.

In conclusion, the significance of NSTP Law to student training is it serves as

the basics to learn first for the students to perform the activities properly. It is the
most essential matter of the subject. With understanding the law, indeed, the
process of enhancing the youth's contribution to the welfare of the country will
succeed.
