What is the importance of having set of values in our society?
Student’s Answer:

A society consists of different people- different beliefs, ways of life,

experiences, and more. But it was formed through their common interests.
Although to have a healthy community, the individuals must have their set of
values- the standards for what is right and wrong, which will help them have the
future they want.

As humans, we reflect on our values. The things that we consider as right will
urge us to be good. The wrongs will teach us to be better. For example, I witnessed
someone was bullying my friend. It was my courage and integrity that made me
stood up and defended her. I knew that bullying was wrong, and I had to take the
right action. It is the love and care I have for my friend that pushed me to do it.
Even though the bullies did me nothing wrong, I was mad at them, and yet I chose
to forgive and be kind after they apologized to my friend. The foundation of your
life is your values. They determine the choices you make and the path in which
your life is directed. Your choices will affect your options in your relationships,
careers, and other activities.

Overall, in our manner of living and working, our values are things we find
essential. People will never be perfect, but values make everything better despite
the cruel world we live in. There is humanity in values, and values are what make
us human.
