REFLECTION
(1st session)

One of the lesson that I have learned is that students have significant possibilities
to engage with issues outside of the classroom through environmental education. They
may learn the skills they’ll need to innovative problem solvers and effective advocates,
they can see how their classroom lessons relate to the complex environmental concerns
facing our world. Environmental education benefits students, schools and our larger
world.
Through engaging the students outside world, they have the opportunities to see
what’s happening around them. The more students know, the more likely they will
recycle, be energy efficient, conserve water. As a teacher, we need to show how easy it
is to bring environmental education into their everyday lesson plans using hands-on,
multi-disciplinary materials aligned to our standards.
