Marxism

Process Question
1. According to this module, The emergence of Marxist literary criticism is through the struggle, politics
and economics theories of class. The prior reference if Marxist criticism are materials in historical
development. It is because works of literature are valuable product of history that can be analyzed by
looking at the social and material conditions in which they were constructed and mirrors the social,
political and intellectual life process.

2. According to Terry Eagleton, Marxist criticism's target is to fully explain the literary work by
emphasizing its forms, styles and meanings as an significant product of a certain history.

Process Question:
1. The central theme of the story Cinderella is “kindness’ and according to the Grimm story its vital
theme is “hate and contempt will get you nowhere in life, when it is simple to be kind.”

2. Theme is the soul or roadmap of the story of which this is considered as the most important element
of the literary pieces that tells of what the literature revolves all about. So, this helps us to deeply
perceive the flow of the text and it the content within the story.
Process Question
1. The best way to resolve any conflict is through having good communication for them to perceive both
parties stand, the issue itself and to formulate accurate solution for the root problem.

2. It is because every individual is unique and has different experiences in life of which they refer as the

others but understanding is different from accepting this can also be due to variation in educational
background, ethnicity, customs and traditions that made varies our perspective in a certain matter.

Details and Facts

1. The content of this text is Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ's hidden relationship as to accord in
hirtorical evidence that support's this conspiracy theory.

2. This except is an conversational deliberation between Teabing and Sophia about mysteries that lies
within Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece "The Last Supper"

3. The external conflict that I've scrutinize in here is the opposing opinion of Teabing and Sophia which
Teabing concludes that Jesus had spouse and it is Mary Magdalene. In contrary, this wasn't mentioned
in the Bible of which make it questionable for Christians.
4. Aside from stating the Jewish culture that all Jews should find a spouse of their own the burden of
proof of Teabing was Gnostic Gospel that contains photographs of ancient documents and handwritten
text.

5. Despite of the clues they've perceived from Leonardo Da Vinci's well-known paint " The Last supper"
specifically the hidden letter. The rebuttal argument that Sophie beholds is even though how intriguing
that the painting visibly show the M character the thought that it wasn't enough to prove Jesus marriage
to Magdalene is a great point in that instance.

DIGGING DEEPER
1. I firmly oppose on Teabing's opinion because the main reference of the their conclusion is Da Vinci's
artwork that isn't enough proof to prove their conclusion eve though they've mentioned some
supporting historical facts. In addition, Our belief as an Christian would not be wavered this easily as we
referred our Bible greater than any tangible proofs because the bible itself narrates historical events
itself.

2. This work in general has been controversial as it inflicts malicious interpretation towards Christ. I
really appreciated this workd as it not completely oppose our religion and support the existence of our
religion but the presented facts which causes malevolent confusion to Jesus' reputation.

3. Based on my understanding the excerpt has close ending as Sophie realizes the points Teabing
wanted to deliver. Furthermore, Sophia reminisced her past confrontation to her grandfather and it
implies that Sophie partially agreed that Jesus have girlfriend in the latter part of the conversation. Of
which connotes that the mystery towards that certain issue is already solved.

4. I did really perceived Teabing’s argument but the embarked truths upon our mind that our religion
molded us through oppose his idea. As this conflict revolves between theory and religion, I know that
we will still strongly grasp the traditional and sacred teaching that Christianity taught us.

5. It simply connotes that Sophie is really intrigued and confused whether the issue is really true as her
grandfather strongly believe that Jesus did really have a spouse.

Process Questions:
1. The person who possess wealth means having a magnificent shelter, bountiful of foods, luxurious
jewelries or accessories and having a lot of money. That is why most of us wanted to be a rich individual
to own those privileged through hard work and most importantly to provide our daily necessities for
ourselves and most importantly to our family.
2. For me it is ironic because the meaning of the term wealth itself means having bountiful of valuable
possessions or properties is the standard of excess. But to answer the question it is already too much
when all the necessities are already fulfilled it is enough. In this case purchasing more than the needed is
included as luxury or wants.

Process Question
1. There are various of steps I initially do when I am encountering something for the first time. First, I

spaknotes.com, The stpry rebolves around the Joad family including Tom, Ma, Pa, Granma, Grandpa,
Noah, Rose of Sharon and the forner preacher Jim Casy.

2. Base on my perception towards this narrative the main problem of characters in the story is the
governance of their former country. As I refered to Sparnotes, this excerpt is referred from a real life
event the Great Depression in 1930 as the Joad a family of farmers forced to migrate due to economic
difficulties.

which known as "The land of opportunities". The great population of Manila is one of the determining
factors of why this is industrialized and developed in many aspect including the education and
employment.

4. I do have know a lot of people who travelled and eventually migrated to the West either Manila or
Western Countries. They have now a simple life having a good paying job and better educational
achievements. I envy them but I do really feel happy for their accomplishments in life.

5. In my locality the municipality that is considered as the West is the Odiongan. The Odiongan are now
currently progressive. This commonly affects the behavior of people as they become more civilized and
liberated which is an adaptation process towards modernization.

Process Question
1. For me unrequited love is one of the most painful feeling we can experience in this mortal life. As we
expect them to reciprocate the feeling we gave to them but the fact that Loving and to be love is a
choice and act with freedom. It makes love complicated and unpredictable at the same time.

2. The inner wound and the literal wound has the similarities in the process of healing. The wound in our
flesh is impossible to be healed without proper care and medication. As well as the wound within us,
time can help us to ease the pain but it cannot heal it alone. The cure for this wound is acceptance, as
long as we accept the source of pain the pain itself will gradually be reduces as the time passes by and
eventually be healed on the right time.
A LOVE SICKER THAN CHOLERA
1. The woman that Florentino Ariza love base on the excerpt is none other than Fermina Daza.

2. The barrier that prevents Fermina and Florentino's love to each other is the Fermina's father regime.

3. The one who helped Fermina and Florentino to communicate with each other is Aunt Escolastica by
teaching Fermina, her niece sign language.

4. Aside from using sign language their method of communication is conveyed secretly and in a
forbidden manner as Fermina's father prohibits this.

5. Yes, the ending is very satisfying because their love once more reunited in the latter part of the story.
That is implied in the last line which is "he repeated his vow of eternal fidelity and everlasting love on

with each other companion. A love that is still exit despite of time passing by is indeed a true love which
made that feeling more valuable and sweeter.

4. Maybe, I am not that certain whether I feel towards her is really love this might be adoration or
anything else. And yes, If this feeling grew stronger and I have enough courage and assurance that this is
love I will face her and hoping to reunite as it was before.

choice to love when there still time is the best way of fighting your loveone's. We must treasure the time
with our loveones because time isn't something we can turn back. We must not wait for us to be late
seizing time and opportunity is the most effective means not to regret in one' deathbed.
Process question
When sex and gender a catalyst for change
1. There must not have an exact setting for sex and gender to be a catalyst for change. Transformation
should have been done from the beginning of humanity's existence having equity for all ages, races,
religion, gender, sexes and any individual variations. But as I've currently notice, Gender and sexes
empowerment and social change should be uphold by us today to have a better, prosperous and
