1 When using FortiClient with FortiAnalyzer, you should upgrade both to their latest versions. The versions between the two
products should match. For example, if using FortiClient 7.0.2, use FortiAnalyzer 7.0.2. In some cases, FortiClient sends logs to
FortiAnalyzer, but they do not show on the FortiAnalyzer GUI.
2 FortiSandbox versions prior to 2.5.0 do not offer FortiClient authorization. FortiSandbox 2.4.0+ may require FortiClient
authorization to be disabled. See the FortiClient Release Notes for details.
3 FortiClient 6.2, 6.4, and 7.0 can connect to FortiOS 6.0 to 6.4 using IPsec or SSL VPN. These FortiClient versions no longer
connect directly to FortiOS 6.4 for Telemetry. FortiClient now sends Telemetry is via EMS.
4 FortiClient 6.2.0+ does not support FortiAnalyzer 6.0.0+ or FortiManager 6.0.0+.
5 If Use SSL certificate for Endpoint Control is enabled, EMS 6.4.7+ supports only FortiClient 6.4.7+. If Use SSL certificate for
Endpoint Control is disabled, EMS 6.4.7+ supports FortiClient 6.2 and 6.4.
6 If Use SSL certificate for Endpoint Control is enabled, EMS 7.0.2+ supports only FortiClient 6.4.7+ and 7.0.2+. If Use SSL
certificate for Endpoint Control is disabled, EMS 7.0.2+ supports FortiClient 6.4 and 7.0.
7 FortiOS 7.0.6 and later is recommended if using zero trust network access.
