What is the
MSc in Finance?
The Master of Science in Finance (MSc in
Finance) program is a two year, research
based thesis program offered by the
Edwards School of Business. This program
was designed to give students the tools and
experiences required for a strong career in
either academia or industry.

The MSc in Finance provides students with

a theoretical background in contemporary
financial issues and incorporates a strong
foundation in empirical methods.

Throughout the program, students have the

opportunity to question and understand
current financial literature and practices,
engage with devoted and knowledgeable
faculty and staff, and participate in various
special guest lecturers and presentations.
Be a financial
master.
Only a handful of
universities across
North America offer
programs that have
a similar focus on
financial research at
the Master’s level.
