1. What is Physical Fitness

Physical fitness results from regular physical activity and it means the body is healthy, flexible, strong,
and doesn't get tired easily. Fitness affects the entire body - heart, lungs, bones, muscles - each body
function works together. Physical fitness involves the performance of the heart and lungs, and the
muscles of the body. And, since what we do with our bodies also affects what we can do with our minds,
fitness influences to some degree qualities such as mental alertness and emotional stability.

3. What are the components of physical Fitness under:

3.1 Health-related

 Cardio-Respiratory Endurance/ Cardio Vascular Endurance-it pertains to our heart, lungs, and
blood vessels to supply oxygen to our working muscles
 Muscles Strength and Muscles Endurance-the ability of the muscles to exert force in the
longest and shortest period of time.
 Flexibility- the ability of the joint to move throughout the full rage of motion
 Body composition- the relationship between the fat tissue and lean body tissue.

3.2 Skill related

 Agility- the ability to rapidly change body direction, accelerate, or decelerate


 Speed- the ability to move the body in one direction as fast as possible.
 Power- the ability to overcome resistance in the shortest period of time leading to the ability to
produce higher velocities against a given load.
 Balance- the ability to retain the centre of mass above the base of support when stationary (static
balance) or moving (dynamic balance).
 Coordination- the ability to select the right muscle at the right time with proper intensity to
achieve proper action.
 Reaction time- is the amount of time it takes to respond to a stimulus.
4. What are the activities that will you consider in physical fatness with regard to your now a day
status?

The physical activities that I think of as being physically fit and healthy in light of my current situation are
things like jogging, brisk walking, running, doing yoga, playing sports, doing aerobic exercises, and other
things that you can do indoors or outdoors at least three times a week. However, it's most important to
choose or engage in physical activities that you enjoy. One of the most crucial things you can do for your
health is to engage in regular physical activity. Exercise helps people reduce their weight and risk of
developing certain diseases. One of the most crucial things you can do for your health is to exercise
regularly. Physical activity can strengthen your bones and muscles, help you maintain a healthy weight,
increase your ability to carry out daily tasks, and improve your cognitive health.
