1. Aside from the challenges and changes in the workplace discussed in Module 1,
what other current challenges and changes you notice in the workplace? Provide at
least 3.

a. New Manager
b. Modern workplace equipment
c. There will be more employee data collected.

2. What are your suggestions to cope up with these challenges and changes?

The following are my suggestions in coping up with changes and challenges in the
workplace;

a. Use optimistic thinking: Your capacity to accept and adjust to workplace

changes can be substantially influenced by your attitude toward those changes.
b. Keep in regular contact with your superior: Maintaining effective
communication with your immediate supervisor is essential once workplace
changes have been implemented.
c. Reconsider your position in the organization and your job: Gaining a fresh
perspective on your job function and how it contributes to your department or
company as a whole is beneficial when changes at work occur.
d. Encourage your coworkers to embrace change: It's crucial that you help your
coworkers adjust to the adjustments as you start to comprehend new procedures or
routines.

3. As a student, how do you balance being effective and efficient?

As a student, I will balance being effective and efficient by;

Defining expectations clearly: Share your team member's responsibilities with

them. Set the priorities from the outset and clearly explain the vision. Correct them
if there are any issues with effectiveness! Encourage them to do the right things
first, more frequently, and exceptionally well.

Continuous Education: Plan a meeting to discuss how to accomplish tasks more

quickly while still effectively. Do not confine the training process to annual/half-
yearly meetings or onboarding sessions. Help them develop crucial abilities if they
are taking on a new project or assignment.
Ensure workplace psychological safety: Employees that are content work harder
and more effectively. Make an environment where everyone is respected, their
opinions are heard, they feel they can reach out if they make a mistake, there is
transparency, people can express their views freely, and there is mutual trust.

Periodic Feedback: Identify the level of each team member's output and whether
it adds value to organizations. Make people more responsible by frequently
providing criticism without making negative comments. If they are consistently
delivering the desired quality, reward them. Lead by example, more than anything
else.
