BSED FIL 2A - Jerico Louis B. Perez - Module 1 Foundation of Special and Inclusive Education
BACKGROUND OF
SPECIAL EDUCATION
There are people who have made their disabilities into an inspiration to achieve more in life.
They believed in themselves that they would succeed in life by not giving up, despite
being deaf or blind. They made me realize that having a disability doesn't mean that you
will not achieve anything. With the right effort and perseverance, we can achieve anything.
There are many things that people with disabilities can do, and this article is proof of that.
Some of them can play instruments, like Beethoven. He composed some of the greatest
musical masterpieces while being deaf. We also have athletes who have disablities. This
proves that nothing is impossible as long as we work hard.
