The first industrial revolution brought mechanical innovation like the steam engine , cotton

spinning and railroads.and second industrial revolution brought mass production through
assembly and electrification and the third industrial revolution brought mainframe computers ,
personal computing and the internet.and here comes the fourth industrial revolution.

Fourth industrial revolution is something that we heard or heard about for years .It was a big
topic of debate.if we think about the third industrial revolution as the digitization of the
introduction of the internet connecting people and things and the fourth industrial revolution is
the concept of blurring the real world with the technological world. It brings together physical
and technological, for example virtual reality. Imagine taking a vacation by putting on a headset
and being transported to some other part of the world or being able to play video games with
virtual reality . Imagine having nanobots introduced into your bloodstream that can cure you
from whatever is ailing . Robots that are taking jobs away from humans , 3d printing limbs or
printings that you need around the house . So all of these types of things blurring of technology,
this blurring of the real world that we live in is what is being called the fourth industrial
revolution. It's a really fascinating concept that we are starting to approach where we see things
like IBM Watson that is able to help diagnose patients . And we have things like amazon echo
that is able to voice command and voice control a lot of the things that we need to done in your
house.and jet engines that are not able to communicate with people on the ground and
diagnose issues and problems before airplanes even land or imagine wearable devices so it's
really a wave of technology crashing into our personal life and into our work lives that is the
fourth industrial revolution .

So this is the era of machine learning and AI , genome editing , 3D printing , internet of things ,
autonomous vehicles and so much more. And now we are talking about the future , these things
are currently affecting our personal and work lives and they are ever evolving. Today we are
living in this fourth industrial revolution .

Things that might affect the business environment in future due to the industrial revolution and
let's discuss it. First one is inequality and it's all about who gets the benefits of these
technologies and of the result they help produce . The reality is that the largest beneficiaries
tend to be the providers of intellectual and physical capital so shareholders, investors and
innovators .Technology is one of the main reasons why income has stagnated or even
decreased for a majority of the population in high income countries . The demand for highly
skilled workers has increased while the demand of workers with less education and lower skill
has decreased.and it leads to potential job loss

Cybersecurity risk this will affect the business environment in future and also in the current
state. When everything is connected the risk of hacking data and tempering with it and using it
for malicious intent.with increased use of data analytics and machine learning .

Core industries disruption. We see this already in this business environment.taxies are
competing against uber . Traditional television and cinema completely taken to another
business environment like netflix and other social media and any store competing with amazon
Ethical issues , this also affect in future of business environment.with improved AI , genetic
engineering and increased automation there are new ethical concerns and questions of morality
that already differ greatly from one individual to another.and it has great risk of using it for
personal and also manipulation of data and misuse of data.and it radically affect the business
environment in future also.

So these are some of the things that might affect the business environment in future.
