RESOLUTION No. 2022-041

RECOMMENDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE STANDARD TRAINING

PACKAGE FOR BASIC PLANNING COURSE (BPC)

WHEREAS, pursuant to DHRDD Standard Operating Procedures Number

2014-002 dated October 23, 2014 entitled, Guidelines and Procedures in the
Development of Standard Training Package (STP), which aims to provide common
guidelines and procedures in the development of STP pursuant to PNPMC 2014-046
and PNPMC 2014-035 in order to institutionalize the conduct of standard training for
PNP personnel;

WHEREAS, DHRDD SOP Number 2014-002, provides that among the

responsiblities of the PNP Training Service (PNPTS) are, to provide technical
assistance to the PNP Offices/Units in developing their respective STPs, to review
and evaluate their STPs and to recommend for the approval of all STPs if conformant
to the standards set forth by the PNP;

WHEREAS, in accordance with the SOP, the Directorate for Plans (DPL) in
coordination with the School for Specialized Courses (SSC) of this Service, crafted
the Standard Training Package for Basic Planning Course (BPC);

WHEREAS, on April 4, 2022 the School for Specialized Courses received the
draft STP for BPC and conducted initial review and evaluation of the required
components of STP;

WHEREAS, on April 12, 2022 this Service returned the corrected STP for
BPC to DPL for necessary corrections of the non-conformities that were noted during
the review and evaluation;

WHEREAS, on May 26, 2022 the School for Specialized Courses received the
corrected STP for BPC and conducted final review and evaluation of the required
components of STP that were noted furing the first and second review;

WHEREAS, on July 16, 2022 the PNPTS through the School for Specialized
Courses scheduled a conference for the presentation of the STP of BPC;

WHEREAS, on August 3, 2022 the PNPTS, STP Review and Evaluation

Board, convened for the final review and evaluation of the STP for Basic Planning
Course (BPC) where PCOL PRIMITIVO C BAYONGAN, JR, Chief, Plans and
Programs Division, DPL peronally presented and discussed the said STP before the
members of the board;
 WHEREAS, the PNPTS, STP Review and Evaluation Board, after thorough
review and evaluation, found that the STP for Basic Planning Course (BPC)
submitted by DPL conforms with the guidelines prescribed in the development of
STP and unanimously voted to recommend for its approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVE,

to RECOMMEND to the Director, PNPTS, the approval of the Standard Training
Package for Basic Planning Course (BPC).
