TRAINING DESIGN
Title : 3-Day Defensive Driving Training
Date of Training : July 22-24, 2020
Venue : BCPO Multi-purpose Hall
Target Participants : 30 PNP personnel
Facilitators/Trainers : CAD Branch

RATIONALE:

The primarygoal of the PNP is to serve and protect the community,it needs not
only knowledge, virtues and courage,but also skills specially in driving proficiency which
is vital in the pursuit of criminal elements hurdling checkpoints, escaping after a
commission of crime, or after conducting hostile activities toward a targeted
establishments or individual and responding for police assistance.

With this, BCPO will be conducting a 3-Day Defensive Driving Training , to equip if
possible, all BCPO personnel with the necessary skills needed in the performance of
their duties and responsibilities, preferably those assigned in WCPD Section handling
Gender-Based Violence Cases.Further,to enable all Police Stations to provide
community services and assistance efficiently. This is in adherent to the
Institutionalization of the Learning and Growth perspective under Performance
Governance System or PNP PATROL PLAN 2030.

OBJECTIVES:

a. To Facilitate BCPO personnel to gain driving skills, preferably those assigned

in WCPD Section;
b. To empower PNP personnel to perform their task with courage and proficiency; and
c. To enhance the quality of community service by conducting capability
enhancement programs to all personnel.

MODE OF IMPLEMENTATION
 The Community Affairs Division (CAD) of BCPO shall coordinate with the
Department of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and
present the proposed training for the availability of instructors.

 BCMFC, Police Stations 1-5shall provide list of four participants as follows:

 Police Stations/BCMFC shall provide vehicle to be used by their respective

participants;
  CAD Branch of BCPO shall be the overall supervisor for the conduct of
Defensive Driving Training; and
 BCPO Admin Branch shall issue Patrol Order for the participants.
