INTRODUCTION
The Philippine Public Safety College and National Police Training Institute
strengthens its community partnership program through Enhanced Community
Immersion Program (ECIP) as part of the academic requirement engaging the police
recruits of PSBRC to know the respective Barangay they are assigned to. This put them
on actual field tests in conducting social investigation at the same time strengthens
police community relations in the premise that active community support plays a vital
role in the prevention of crime and successful operations.
OBJECTIVES
VENUE
The proposed venue for the ECIP for the 147 police recruits of PSBRC will be at
Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. Coordination with the local Chief of Police and
the respective Barangay Chairperson has been initiated to the following Barangays:

TARGET DATE
1. Each of the three (3) classes of PSBRC will divided into three (2) teams. Each
team shall compose 24-25 members with their assigned Tactical PNCOs and
Course Coordinators.
2. The Regional Training Director shall be the overall Field Training Supervisor
(FTS) and the Chief, Academics Branch shall be the overall program coordinator.
3. Coordination with the Barangays and briefing shall be done by the Tactical
PNCOs and the Chief, Academics Branch.
4. The activities of the 5-day ECIP shall be as follows:
5. Each team shall pick at least three (3) activities as suggested in Module VI of
PSJLC Program of Instruction.
6. For the culminating activity, at least ten (5) representatives from the barangay
(barangay officials, BPAT, zone leaders, health workers, youth and elderly sector
will be given certificate of appreciation during the closing program. This will be
also an opportunity for RTC 10 personnel and police recruits to fellowship with
the barangay officials.
