WEAKNESS
My biggest weakness is getting so absorbed in my work that I
lose all track of time. Every day I look up and realize everyone
has gone home! I know I should be more aware of the clock, but
when I love what I'm doing I just can't think of anything else.
STRENGHT
I would say that as a police officer, I’m vigilant, proactive and
committed to ensuring safe, secure, and orderly environments. I’m
also a lifelong learner, always seeking out the best for the police
trainees and police students. I frequently make suggestions to make
changes as my motivation comes from making a meaningful
contribution.

What makes me unique is my experience of having spent three

years in RTC 10. Because I’ve had first-hand experience. I know
what it takes to create a positive experience because I’ve had that
direct interaction, working with the police students and recruits.

Tell me about the last time a co-worker or customer got

angry with you. What happened?"
Conflict is inevitable when a company works hard to get things
done. Mistakes happen. Sure, strengths come to the fore, but
weaknesses also rear their heads. And that's OK. No one is
perfect.
But a person who tends to push the blame -- and the
responsibility for rectifying the situation -- onto someone else is a
candidate to avoid. Hiring managers would much rather choose
candidates who focus not on blame but on addressing and fixing
the problem.
Every business needs employees who willingly admit when they
are wrong, step up to take ownership for fixing the problem, and,
most important, learn from the experience.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
CAREER ADVANCEMENT
TEAM PLAYER
team players who are committed to helping the greater good of
the team, which ultimately benefits the the training center:

As an experienced, service-oriented professional with more than a

decade of experience working in boutique salons, I grow well on
creating a welcoming environment for all clients and providing the
highest quality of education and services. My specialized training and
strong interpersonal skills have helped me become adept at
developing long-term, trusted relationships that help to build a loyal
client base. Some of my clients have been with me since the
beginning—more than ten years now. These relationships are the
reason I’m excited to go to work every day.”
I’m a natural problem-solver. I find it rewarding to dig deep and
uncover solutions to challenges—it’s like solving a puzzle. It’s
something I’ve always excelled at and something I enjoy.

I would like to continue developing my teaching expertise over the

next several years. One of the reasons I’m interested in working at
training center is that I believe, at training center, here, we should
inculcate to the police especially the recruits the basic and proper .

I believe this experience will serve me well in achieving my ultimate

goal of someday leading a marketing department.”

The greatest singular event would not stick out with much
difference from many. No heroic life saving events, but…. there
have been many that simply involved helping someone or a family
when in a time of need due to injury, accident, etc. Simply
arranging a tow has led to exceptionally thankful people that
makes the whole job worth it.
Returning a pet, finding a “lost kid,” transporting a person in dire
need….they are multiple and rewarding. As a dispatcher I found
similar events to be providing over the phone first aid help or
claiming a person on 911 that has someone in need of medical
services. Most people that have negative attitudes towards police
because they have been on the wrong side of the law. Most
others are happy to have a police officer actually help them.
Overall, I have more better memories than bad ones and I stay in
touch with many of the great people I worked with.
Good morning Sir/Maam, I am Police Captain Jan Ver Murillo
Dianopra presently designated as the Chief, Applied Training
Branch of RTC 10. Before I was assigned here at Regional
Training Center 10, I was once designated as the Chief of Police
of Magsaysay, a Municipality of Lanao del Norte here in Region
10, Mindanao. I can say that the greatest accomplishment I made
during that time was, we were able to settle RIDO or the clan war
or family feud because I believed that beyond work, we need to
focus on resolving rido since the unrest and unstable peace
situation in our region hinders our economic development.
Rido greatly affects the peace and order, as well as the progress
of our place. While major conflicts are not common anymore, clan
war is still prevalent in some parts of the province. And I believe
there is a need to settle these rido if we want development and
progress.
This is an introduction to a long term and systematic framework
on settlement, reconciliation and unification efforts in the Lanao
del Norte. The success of this activity will lay the solid foundation
of our collective efforts to maintain peace and reconcile those
involved in rido.
We really care about the peaceful coexistence of all citizens. For
me, peace and harmony between people are essential. There at
Magsaysay Lanao del Norte, relations between Christians and
Muslims are very good. We participate together in moments of
prayer and meetings where we deal with the problems of the
community. Some families are composed of Christians and
Muslims, who live together in mutual respect.
Aside from that, what gave me the most satisfaction was
when I was able to helped a small group of people, especially
children, specifically ages 18 below, whose days are often
numbered. and made a small difference /of course, under the
leadership of our former snappy Regional Training Director,
PLTCOL EDISON V REVITA. These childern are diagnosed with
cancer yet in their plight, they remain unworried. The Leupapo
(Lukemia Patients and Parents Organisation) is a non profit
organization whose mission is to assist leukemia patients by
giving access to temporary shelter to parents and patients coming
from nearby provinces. Aside from this, Leupapo Inc. provides
faster access to blood, promotes chemotherapy awareness and
employs bayanihan system among its beneficiaries to their less
fortunate members specially on hospital bills.
The most significant event we made for LEUPAPO is that it
gained the attention of the local community as well as other
government bureaus and non-government organizations (NGO). It
also gained the attention from the local politicians as well as the
local media.
We are pleased on how the local community responded in
creating a ripple of kindness. This is evident on how RTC 10 is
gaining media mileage as recognition to every significant activity
they conducted. We are proud that the transition of leadership
and management started on the right footing. It started with a
single act, a single visit, and it spreads outward affecting many
more. One small act of kindness is all it takes. One small act of
kindness that can create a ripple that can spread across not only
here in Mindanao but throughout the nation.

And for now, in addition, I would like to think that I, my greatest

achievement was coming home every day to my wife and my
future child. Everything else was a distant second... That’s all sir/
maam Good Morning.

9 POINT AGENDA
New police administration, new strategic direction.
The Regional Training Center has recalibrated its strategic
direction following the assumption of the new PNP chief, General
Camilo Cascolan. The thrust on sustained reformation will not
only be focused on building capabilities of our personnel but will
also be providing better systems and processes.
1 Decongestion
This would entail relocation of PNP national support units (NSUs)’
offices outside the headquarters and building of one-stop shops
which will provide convenience and efficiency to PNP clients.
2 Facilities and Development
On Infrastructure and equipment reformation, the focus will be on
facilities development, better quartering facilities, health and
wellness facilities and establishment of Camp Master
Development Plan.
3 Delineation of responsibilities- To generate additional
positions and ranks. Streamline units and functions to ensure
focus and avoid duplication.
4. Human Resource/Skills Development
Human Resource reformation. To enhance skills and competence
of PNP Personnel specifically on firearm proficiency

5. Additional Position and Promotion- will now include

establishment of a rational succession planning system for the
promotion of personnel to develop a more responsive
organization.
6. Bayanihan Spirit (Enhancing Police Visibility)
To maximize community support and partnership in the areas of
peace and order development, we should win the hearts and mind
of the community
7 Leadership Development
Command responsibility will be given emphasis where leaders are
expected to take full responsibility of the deeds and misdeeds of
their personnel.
8 Enhance work performance/Morale and Welfare
implementation of 8-hour duty scheme in areas where it is
applicable; localization of assignments; and providing healthcare
and wellness services
9 Sustain the gains and enhance the implementation of PNP
PATROL PLAN 2030 beyond institutionalization
Under the “Internal Cleansing through Mentoring and Developing
Leaders at all levels”, this will continue to implement internal
cleansing programs to ensure discipline in all aspects of policing.
Having the 9-point agenda of the Chief PNP will greatly contribute
to the delivery of accomplishments at par to becoming a
respected Regional Training Center 10. Together we should be
optimistic in attaining the organization’s goal.

Responsible means that you are involved, possibly performing a clearly defined task,
and your performance could determine a successful outcome.

Accountable means that its up to you to ensure that there will be a successful outcome.

Even though you might not actually be performing any of the tasks involved.

We can delegate responsibility for tasks, but we cannot delegate accountability.

If we start to try delegate accountability, this is usually as a result of a failure, at which

point we are looking for someone to blame for that failure.

As Leaders it’s always our job to ensure success.

I would like to thank you all Sir Maam for your dedication and skill
when it came to this promotional board. Without your generosity,
knowledge and patience, this would not have gone as smoothly
as it has. Thank you Sir/Maam for your services, especially during
this such a busy season. I know that I was one of the most junior
who applied for this promotion. Given the chance to be promoted
to the next higher rank, I will have to prove to decision makers
and leadership that I am ready and deserving enough to take on
more responsibility. This takes consistently working my best,
staying dedicated to my work, and much more. I know there is
time for every thing. And I will wait until I become., sir/maam

Thank you so much.

The citizen expects police officers to have the wisdom of Solomon, the courage of David, the strength 'of
Samson, the patience of Job, the leadership of Moses, the kindness of the Good Samaritan, the
strategical training of Alexander, the faith of Daniel, the diplomacy of Lincoln, the tolerance of the
Carpenter of Nazareth, and, finally, an intimate knowledge of every branch of the natural, biological, and
social sciences. If he had all these, he might be a good policeman
