2. The VLMC TB ICF program started last 06 September 2021 until present.
The program focuses on the early detection and treatment of TB among ACD patients
and companions and AFPHSC personnel. Currently, the program is on its 3 rd month of
operations in which the accomplishment report for 2021 and updates on previous issues
and concerns was presented by the ICF team during the VTC conference last 13 January
2022.

3. One issues previously raised was the validity and data privacy of using AI
software in CXR reading. The use of AI software was cleared by higher command prior to
the start of the program’s operation and measures were made to ensure data privacy is
observed at all times. Currently, recent updates for AI software use in CXR reading were

given so as to implement the ICF program in accordance of the DOH National TB

Program. AI CXR reading as mentioned on the DOH guidelines is only to be used for
early screening and detection and to support with official reading from a certified
Radiologist. For the current TB ICF program, having the CXR official reading will help to
strengthen then screening and detection of TB cases in the said program.

4. ITR, respectfully requesting assisting and partnership in providing official

CXR reading for Tb Detection in the TB ICF program. Attach herewith are supporting
documents as well as the planned clinical pathway in the TB ICF program. For further
