INSTRUCTIONS/ REMINDERS FOR GRADUATION:

This is a once in a lifetime occasion that we are all excited to happen and we so are expecting your full
cooperation. Here are some reminders to make our graduation a success

1. Be on time for the baccalaureate mass (on or before 7:30am). No parents/ guests will be
allowed at the gym for the baccalaureate. They are free to stay outside the gym.
2. Once the baccalaureate mass has begun, no students will leave the gym for any reason,
including eating or using the restroom.
3. Class pictorial follows after the baccalaureate mass. Snacks will be distributed as well.
4. Only 2 invites per graduate is allowed in the afternoon for the graduation ceremony.
5. In the afternoon, be in your post on or before 2:30pm. Graduation march will start at exactly
3:00pm.
Grad school --- at the MIS area/ building,
Hospitality Mgt. --- library
BSBA ---- along the corridor at the back of the accounting office.
Entrep ----- St. Elizabeth of Hungary/ Basketball Court
6. A designated seat will be provided for the parents of the awardees. They will be ushered by USI
guides.
7. One parent/ guest will be allowed inside the St. Elizabeth quadrangle and the other one will stay
at St. Mary’s Garden. A TV monitor will be placed for viewing.
8. Parents and guest are advised to wear decent and appropriate attire for the occasion especially
those of awardees.
9. Know your seatmate so you will be familiar with your companions in the march. Those who
arrive late will not be allowed to march, especially after your supposed turn has ended. You may
continue to your designated seat.
10. When the graduation ceremony starts, be still and keep your voices modulated when need to
talk.
11. For students, the use of cellphone is not allowed once the ceremony has begun. Let us keep the
occasion solemn and memorable.
12. For parents and guests, they have their designated area. Picture taking may be allowed from a
distance but not inside the quadrangle. There is an official photographer that will capture those
major events in the ceremony.
13. While the ceremony is ongoing, no students will leave for any reason including eating however,
use of bathroom may be allowed. You may have a candies/ chocolate with you. For any special
need such as water, or inhalers, USI guides students are stationed near your area to assist you.
14. For health protocol, use of face mask must be worn all throughout the graduation ceremony and
baccalaureate mass. Still carry with you sanitizer/alcohol for protection. This is both for students
and parents/ guests.
15. We expect that everyone has been fully vaccinated. Otherwise, no guests or parents will be
permitted to attend. A form will be given for this purpose and to be submitted on or before June
27 through your mayor or Program Chairperson.
