NOTICE

Freshers’ Welcome 2023

We're excited to welcome you to Brainware University and celebrate the beginning of your academic
journey. As we gear up for the Freshers' Welcome 2023 event, it's important that we all contribute to
creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. To ensure that, please take note of
the following Dos & Don't's :
Dos:
1. Hall Tickets: Hall tickets are a must for entry. Please ensure you have your hall ticket with you.
2. Special Card for Volunteers and Performers: Volunteers and performers must securely pin the
special card provided to them for identification purposes.
3. University ID Card: A valid university ID card is required for all attendees. Please ensure you have
your ID card with you.
4. Respect Others: Treat your fellow students, event organizers, staff, and volunteers with respect
and kindness.
5. Follow Dress Code: Adhere to a decent dress code that reflects the dignity of the occasion.
6. Arrive on Time: Be punctual to make the most of the event. Late entry might be restricted during
specific parts of the program.
7. Silence Electronic Devices: Silence or switch off mobile phones and electronic devices to minimize
disruptions.
8. Cooperate with Queuing: Follow instructions for queuing and maintain order.
9. Observe Quiet Zones: Show consideration for quiet zones if designated, where silence is
requested.
10. Maintain Personal Space: Be considerate of personal space and avoid pushing or shoving in
crowded areas.
11. Respect for Performers: Show respect for the performers by refraining from loud talking or
disruptive behaviour during their performances.
12. Environmental Responsibility: Help maintain the cleanliness of the venue by disposing of trash in
designated bins and by respecting the environment.
13. Zero tolerance for Harassment: Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Please treat
everyone with respect and kindness.
14. Volunteer and Staff Authority: Recognize the authority of event volunteers and staff, and
cooperate with them as necessary.
15. Respect for Venue Property: Do not damage or deface the venue's property. Vandalism will not
be tolerated. Strict action will be taken by the University if found guilty.
Dont's:
1. No Smoking or Alcohol: Smoking and consuming alcohol are strictly prohibited on the event
premises.
2. No Bags Inside: Bags are not allowed inside the auditorium. Please leave them at home or in your
vehicles.
3. No Outside Food: Outside food and beverages are not allowed within the venue.
4. No Late Entry: Late entry may be restricted once the event has started to avoid disruptions.
5. No Heckling or Disruption: Refrain from disruptive behaviour, such as heckling or interrupting
performers.
6. No Seat Reservations: Do not reserve seats for others as seats are typically first-come, first-
served.
7. No Running: Running inside the venue is not allowed for safety and order.
8. Parking: Parking is not allowed in Rabindra Bhawan. Attendees are encouraged to find alternative
parking facilities in the vicinity.
9. Behavior Expectations: Misbehavior, both inside and outside the venue, will not be tolerated.
Please be respectful to fellow attendees and event staff.

Remember, your cooperation with these guidelines will help make the Freshers' Welcome 2023 a
memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Let's create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
reflecting Brainware University's spirit.
