Topic Describing Mixtures In this lesson, Learners learned about
heterogeneous mixtures and
homogeneous. Mixtures are the
combination of two or more substances
that can be homogeneous or

Describe the appearance and uses uniform and
non-uniform mixtures (S6MT-Ia-c-1)
Learning Objectives
By the end of the lesson the Pupils should be able
to: 1.) Students should Define and
Describe the mixtures because there
1. Define and describe the appearance of are two types of mixtures,
mixtures. Homogeneous and Heterogeneous
2. Compare Homogeneous and Heterogeneous uniform and non-uniform. This lesson

3. Classify Homogeneous and Heterogeneous how to separate the mixture into its
mixtures. components, this first objective
4. Value the benefits of homogeneous and reaches the Motivation.
Heterogeneous mixtures at home. 2.) By comparing Homogeneous and
Heterogeneous mixtures the students
will be able to cooperate by comparing
the mixtures. This second objective
reaches the first Activity.
3.) The students will classify Mixtures
can be classified on the basis of
particle size into three different types:
solutions, suspensions and colloids to
be able to better understand. Third
objective reach the abstraction or
lesson proper.
4.) Students must give value the
benefits of homogeneous and
Heterogeneous mixtures which is the
two categories of mixtures, everyday

and drink we consume and the fabrics
we wear each of my students will
appreciate the uses and benefits and
apply their learnings from school to
real-life situations. The last objective
achieves the Application.
