For a class B network setup, separate a single network of same configuration with
two subnets

METHODOLOGY PROPOSED
● Start the Cisco packet tracer first.
● The LAN setup contains PC0,PC1,PC2,PC3, two switches and a router.

● Make sure you connect all Devices you want to data share from in the switch
● connect devices with automatically connection type
● Setup the IP configuration for the PCs
● Now setup IP config for router for switch0 and switch1.
● Now setup gateway for PCs in such a way that works perfectly
● Now send message from PC0 of switch0 to PC2 of switch1 and PC1 to PC3,
if the data transfer successful then connection made with two subnets.

CONCLUSION

We successfully completed the subnetting of class B network with two


subnets.
