SECOND MID-QUARTER PERFORMANCE CHECK

SEEING THE HOME THROUGH A DIFFERENT ANGLE

Staying at home is an imperative due to the situations presented by the pandemic. Being
confined in the comforts of our home for long periods have shown an impact on our psychological
well-being. With this, we invite you to look at our situation with a new perspective and observe simple
things in our homes with a fresh standpoint. Appreciating little things that we often take for granted is
one way of sparking our interests and reviving our hopes, coupling it with our lesson on the Unit
Circle, this takes our learning to a whole new level, allowing us to see our homes through a different
angle!

You are expected to accomplish the following:

 Scenario
a. Take a picture at home that illustrates an angle in standard position.
b. Impose the picture in a Cartesian coordinate plane and highlight the angle.
c. Estimate the angle measure in degrees with a reference angle of 30 ° , 45 ° , or 60 ° .
d. Include your full name and section on the picture as watermark.
e. Provide a short description of the picture taken that exemplifies the concept of angle.
 Coterminal Angles
a. Identify one (1) positive and one (1) negative co-terminals of the given angle
measure in one revolution.
 Conversion of angle measure:
a. Convert the degree measure of the given angle to radian measure.
 Six Circular Functions:
a. Evaluate the value of the six circular functions of the given angle measure.
 Addendum
a. Rubric

The grading of the output will be based on the following:

A stair is a structural design that is commonly observed in a house that has more than one floor.
This stair is taken inside our house, and it illustrates an angle in standard position that measures
approximately 225 ° . With this, I am going to show you how to (a) convert the given angle measure to
radian measure, (b) identify two co-terminals, one (+) and one (-), and (c) solve for the value of the six
circular functions.
