FIRST EVIDENCE AND
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

The history of football is considered from 1863,

the year the English Football Association was
founded, although its origins, like the other codes
of football, go back several centuries, particularly
in the British Isles during the Middle Ages.
Although there were points in common between
different ball games that were developed from
the years of the 3rd century BC. C. In 1848
representatives of different English colleges met
at the University of Cambridge to create the
Cambridge code, which would serve as the basis
for the creation of modern football regulations.
Finally, in 1863 in the city of London the first rules
of football were made official.
FIRST TIME IN HISTORY THAT
A WOMAN IS INVOLVED IN
FOOTBALL

The evolution of women's football is undeniable,

and despite suffering many ups and downs,
today, they move masses throughout the world.
They have earned recognition that was
unthinkable 20 years ago. The beginning of
soccer among women dates back thousands of
years during the Han dynasty in China from 1800
to 1200 BC. when a game called Tsu Chu was
played, which was very similar to today's soccer.
FIRST TIME A FORMAL FOOTBALL
MATCH WAS PLAYED

Today football is an essential part of our lives, but

its history is relatively new. 156 years ago, the first
official game was played in England, giving rise to
a passion that moves millions of people around
the world. On December 19, 1863, the match
between Barnes Football Club and Richmond
Football Club took place, the first to be governed
by the Football Association (FA) regulations,
which were established just days before.
FIRST TIME THE SPORT
PARTICIPATED IN AN
INTERNATIONAL
COMPETITION
The first international soccer match was played
between Scotland and England on November 30,
1872 in Partick, Scotland. The match ended in a 0-
0 draw and was watched by 4,000 people. Prior
to this match, there were several unofficial
matches between England and Scotland at the
request of the English Football Association (The
FA). The enthusiasm in organizing these matches
was such that they decided on venues, referees,
English players and, unbelievably, Scottish
players. For these matches, the Scotland team
was made up of players resident in and around
London, with connections to Scotland. This is the
reason FIFA does not consider these matches to
be international matches.
