ACTIVITY 2: Research Topic/Concept Paper Proposal

Instructions: From the identified issues in the previous activity (Activity 1), prepare a
research topic/concept paper proposal based on your determined potential innovation.

1. Name of the Organization – Sta. Lucia High School

2. Title of the Proposed Project – Data-Based Enrollment Process

3. Potential Donor – Admin Staff, Registrar, LIS/BEIS Coordinator, Advisers

4. Context (not more than 300 words)

5. The Enrollment File system will help in gathering data and stores it digitally. The
system is divided into different parts. The system file includes the following:
a. Encoding
b. Save Button
c. Data Entry
d. Data Table

You can also export almost everything from your system to a separate PDF file. The
registrar, LIS-BEIS can also access the necessary file for their future reports. For
instance, total number of students per strand even male and female. The authorize
personnel may also edit the basic info of the students and the system will automatically
change it to all tables that applies.

6. Rationale for the Proposed Project

Enrollment File System is a customize Excel Macro program that acts as a record
and playback tool that simply records your Excel steps and the macro will play it
back as many times as you want. Through the power of VBA Macros program,
teachers can save time as the system automate repetitive tasks. The system file
creates a unified master list of all the enrolled students and stores all their basic
information in one click.

7. Project Goals and Objectives

The enrollment system file will:
a. Gather all data information during the enrollment period digitally.
b. Store the data information digitally and only authorized personnel will have
access.
c. Automatically tabulated basic information for school reports locally, division
wide or national.

8. Project Strategy/ Listing of Project Activities

a. The teachers will be oriented how to use the enrollment system file.
b. During the enrollment period, the first step is the evaluation wherein the
assigned teacher will check all the requirements of the enrollee.
c. After the evaluation, the enrollee will go straight to the encoding team.
d. This process will go through until the end of the enrollment period.
e. All the information will be stored digitally.

9. Expected Results
The enrollment system file will improve the enrollment process, make the school
data gathering easy and the school reports accessible to all the authorized
personnel.

10. Innovation: How different it is for other or earlier projects?

Enrollment system file will lessen all the paper stored in every office. The data will be
easily tabulated according to the reports they need regarding the enrollment period.
