COVID-19 and Sustainability Development

The COVID-19 pandemic is global health crisis unlike any in the 75 years’ history of the whole
over world. That is killing people, spreading human suffering and upending people's lives. It
much more than a health crisis because it attacking societies at their core. It means world
economy food storage and human thoughts are vanishing because of this health crisis. However,
world has to reorganize in front of those disasters. Therefore, United Nations has called for an
urgent and coordinated response with a focus on "recovering better" by building more equal,
inclusive and sustainable economies and societies that are more resilient in the face of
pandemics, climate changes and the many other global challenges we face.

In the discussion of recovering world The Sustainable Development get priority. Sustainable
development is among the greatest challenges facing humanity. Efforts to realize sustainable
development such as the United Nations' sustainable development goals or the many individual
undertakings by governments and donors to secure human and environmental wellbeing. As
scholars and practitioners seek to understand better how global and local sustainability can be
leveraged to realize human wellbeing. Interest in the subject will intensify. Compelling and wide
ranging in terms of definitions, approaches and outcomes. Sustainable development harbors
enormous room for knowledge sharing, creative, cross disciplinary approaches and thoughtful
problem solving.

We will overcome the COVID-19 pandemic only through effective collaboration and
communication among scientists, experts, innovators and policymakers. Real time sharing of
experiences and insights will be critical in strengthening the science policy society interface and
contribute towards the solutions we need. The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs is
presenting here updates and analysis from experts belonging to the 10 members group to support
the technology facilitation mechanism and the independent group of scientists for the global
sustainable development report and other thought leaders affiliated with the United Nations.
Those things are the actions that were taken by United nations.

Initially the Corona virus was discovered from China in December 2019.But until today a proper
cure could not found. In the first stage a lot of people were dead in china so they tried to
overcome this. For that they were built a hospital by 10 days with special facilities for affected
people I think that is sustainable development. United nations have 17 goals for sustainable
development. Those are No poverty, Zero hunger, Good health and wellbeing, Quality education,
Gender equality, Clean water and sanitation, Affordable and clean energy, Decent work and
economic growth, Industry innovation Infrastructure, Reduced equalities, sustainable cities and
communities, Responsible consumption and production, Climate action, Life below water, Life
on land, Peace Justice and strong institutions and partnership for the goals. The above 17
sustainable development goals were originally conceived by the UN, “as blueprint to achieve a
better and more sustainable future for all”. They address the interconnected global challenges we
face and are designed to leave no one behind. The 17 sustainable Development goals campaign
hub, led by TBD media creates a showcase for brands worldwide that are each committed to
meeting these goals, on this hub we tell their stories and their commitment to the goals around
world. Because of COVID-19 pandemic world bend for sustainable development to rescue.

There is a goal for zero hunger in Sustainable development goal of UN. In this days a lot of food
industries are struck due the COVID-19 hazard so world going to hungry for that people should
start farming to provide their own food necessity. This pattern should continue after finishing the
pandemic. As well as there is another goal called good health and wellbeing it should be the main
goal in this days. It means hospital facilities should develop more than this and sanitation should
be propagated. For propagate those facilities new technology should use. As well as these days’
people innovate inventions for medical sector effectiveness in front of this pandemic. In these
days a lot of countries are locked down, because of that tourism industry export marketing were
loss. As example the garment industry can’t produce their garment products due to lack of
clothes, so the export income goes down. What we can do for it. we should start make clothes by
own. That will sustain in future. In these days’ people should use facilities limitly. It should be
responsible consumption. It also a sustainable development goal of UN.

The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented global shock that magnifies the impact of
inequality, hitting the poor hardest. In develop countries, frontline workers in the service
economy are among the most exposed to the virus and the least able to absorb its financial
impact. And the hardest hit will be the poor in developing countries, where already-struggling
workers will not have the benefit of social safety nets and stimulus packages. The develop
countries organizations must immediately help these countries to finance the flattering of the
pandemic curve. Longer term, we must redouble efforts to foster sustainable economic systems,
including fair trade and investments. As the vision about sustainable development of UN world
should reduce inequalities by helping other countries.

The corona virus pandemic is more than a health crisis. It is rooted in how we treat our planet,
how we priorities our public spendings. And it will impact our lives for much longer than we
expect. A lot of mentors think COVID-19 is revenge of nature what we done to it, in this era we
can see the nature recue it past bad status. Now is the time to think practically about how to
advance what were previously considered either radical shifts in policy or pigeon holed issues of
comparatively marginal importance. Once we are up and out of house we will need to make this
agenda accessible for a world that will need deep, propound and sustained recovery. In the
meantime, I believe you and yours are safe in this challenging and uncertain time. Together, we
can navigate this crisis and build a better more sustainable world.
