PURPOSE: The purpose of this training is to limit transmission and

contain the outbreak by rapidly identifying and quarantining
contacts.
- Undertake COVID-19 contract tracing
GOALS The goal of this training is to be able learners to conduct contract
tracing in accordance with what has been set.
TARGET AUDIENCE The target audience are commonly medical or nursing students
TRAINING TIME Time required of this training is 3-5 hours
METHOD: The training will be conducted online and should follow local
health authorities and guidelines.

LOCATIONS: Since it will be conducted through online, there’s no specific
location.
PREREQUISITES: As what the ads required, the trainees must be able to interview
COVID-19 cases and close contacts in order to gather data.
Also, must possess the ability to advocate public health
education.

PROBLEMS AND One of the major problem would be the technical. Since this
OPPORTUNITIES: training is online, there are instances that the signal is weak.
Hence, I would require the trainees to find a place with a strong
signal.

TEMPLATE FOR LESSON PLAN

COURSE TITLE:
LESSON TITLE: TRAINING FOR CONTACT TRACERS
LESSON LENGTH: The allotted time would be 5 hours.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this training, the trainees will be able to:
 Identify what is contract tracer and its importance;
 Demonstrate ability to provide information and field question from cases;
  Assess the need for medical care for cases.
Target Audience:
- The target audience of this training is the medical students.
Prerequisites:
Trainee: The trainee should know how to gather information and have the enthusiasm as
contact tracer.
Instructor: The instructor should be knowledgeable enough about the position of contact
tracer so that it would be easy to impart to trainees.
Room Arrangement:
By following the protocols set by the government, the sitting arrangement should have at least 1
meter distance.
