Name of the Game LANGIT LUPA
Game Objectives/Description Langit-lupa is chasing game, a variation of habulan where
players can be immune from being tagged as long they stand
on an elevated surface. The game's name describes how the
chaser cannot reach players how are elevated from the
“earth”. The game is for at least three players, who will
gather in a circle.

Rules and Mechanics Langit Lupa is a twist on a running around game where one is
considered taya or untouchable if they are in an elevated
place. The taya then chants a rhyme and at the end of it,
everyone must run to a new elevated position while avoiding
being tagged by the taya.

It is fun and exciting because it brings back the memories that I’ve been playing as a kid.
It is more fun in a wide and more in object areas, meaning more high ground. It has been so
long I’ve played the game and I feel a bit rusty.
