SCHEDULE
13 DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT
The Trendmaster Galvanic Isolator (TMGI) is associated apparatus that provides isolated intrinsically
safe outputs for connection to suitably-certified transducers. The TMGI is housed in a flame retardant
urethane enclosure and is designed to be installed in a suitable enclosure located in a zone 2 or zone
22 hazardous area.
The hazardous area terminals (2, 3, 4 and 5) are intrinsically safe, refer to certificate number
Sira 02ATEX2215 for applicable safety parameters.
Variation 1 - This variation introduced the following changes:
i. To allow the increase in the value of fuse F4 on Board 1 from 100 mA to 200 mA.
ii. The introduction of minor circuit changes to Board 2.
iii. To recognise changes to the label drawing.
Variation 2 - This variation introduced the following change:
i. The applicants name and address was changed from Bently Nevada Corporation, 1617 Water
Street to that currently shown.
Variation 3 - This variation introduced the following changes:
i. Following appropriate re-assessment to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the
EN 60079 series of standards, the documents previously listed in section 9, EN 50021:1999, was
replaced by those currently listed, the markings in section 12 were updated accordingly and the
conditions were amended to recognise the new standards.
ii. The marking was modified to clarify that these products contain intrinsically safe, associated
apparatus; the use of this marking relies on certificate number Sira 02ATEX2215 and it is applied
by the Applicant under his own responsibility.
