Q1. Discuss the importance of cybersecurity in the digital business world of today. Which tools
and practices can be utilized for securing the data in a business environment. Justify your answer
with arguments and relevant examples (4)
Cyber security is the use of technologies, for the protection of computers, servers, mobile devices and networks from digital
attacks. Cybersecurity is a very important topic in the digital business world. It is not only about protecting your company from
hackers and cybercriminals, but also about protecting your company from internal threats.

Cyber security is very important in the digital business world of today. Companies need cyber security to keep their resources,
finances, and data of customers, safe and protected. For a digital business, cybersecurity is also use to protect various assets of
a business like website, social media accounts, payment transactions and other digital assets.

We can use various tools and practices to secure data for our business.

Use of Antivirus for the protection of systems.


Two-factor authentication to protect website and social media accounts.
Creating strong passwords.
Do schedule backups regularly

For example, there is an online ecommerce store which is running good from past years. We can protect it by using a good web
hosting that is secured, there are different extensions/plugins to protect the online store. We can use 2 factor-authentication to
protect the passwords of social media accounts and website. We can use strong passwords. We can also hire an ethical hacker
who can check if there are any loops in our system or not.

Q2. While using MS Word

a. What is the difference between page break and section break? Give examples of usage of
each in a document (3)
Page Break: A page break is used to start a new page and it is also used to seperate the two pages and after adding a page
break, the one page doesn't affect the second page.

Section Break: A section break is used to divide the documents in the sections. It is used to change formatting, between the
different sections in a single page.

Example:

Let's assume, we are writing a report. So we can use page break to create a seperation between cover page and
introduction page. We can use section break in introduction page to change the formating between two sections

b. What is the functionality of format painter? Write down its keyboard shortcut as well. (2)
The format painter is a tool in word that is used to copy and paste the format of a previous written text to a new text. This
tools is very useful to reformat a document easier and more quickly.

"Control+ Shift + C" is used to copy a format in word.

"Control+ Shift + V" is used to paste a format in word.

c. What is the difference between serif and sans serif font faces? When do we use one or the
other, give examples. (3)
Serif Font Face: Serif font is a font that is decorative and have a stem when they end. An example of Serif font is "Times
New Roman"

Sans Serif Font Face: Sans Serif font is a font that is simple and easy to read and they don't have stem when they end. An
example of Sans Serif font is "Calibri".

Use Case Scenerio:

Serif fonts are used in magazines, newspapers and books. Sans Serif fonts are used in website, logos and branding
material.

a. How would you differentiate between a Spreadsheet and Worksheet? (2)


Spreadsheet: A spreadsheet is like a file which acts like a container for different worksheets. It is a combination of different
worksheets. There can be multiple worksheets like "Sheet 1, Sheet 2, Sheet 3"

Worksheet: A worksheet is like a single sheet or grid in which you fill your information.

b. Briefly describe the data validation feature? When and how can we use it to our benefit (3)
In excel, data validation feature is very useful because it allows you to control the type of data you put in excel sheet. It
prevents invalid data from being entered into excel.

Example:

You could reject the numbers greater then 1000 in a cell by using data validation feature.

How we can use it in our benefits:

For example we are entering the number of the students and maximum number are 50. So we can set a data validation
feature to only add 2 digits in the cell and numbers less than 50. So when we will be adding more than 2 digits or number
greater than 50, It will give error. This reduces the chances of entering invalid data

c. When do we use Multi level filtering in and how it is done (2)


Multi level filtering is used to extract a speficif data that follows a specific condition in a column. For example, there is are
the numbers of students between 0 - 100. So we can use this feature to extract the students that gets above 50 number
and then we can sort it by assecnding to descnding order.

We can do this by selecting the coloumn and then click on data tab and there is an option of Sort & Filter. We can use that
and if we want more advance features, we can use the advance option there.

d. If you want to invert the rows and columns in, what function can you perform? (2)

a. What is the difference between .ppt and .pptx file format in MS PowerPoint? (1)

b. List down any (at least) 5 Rules of Thumb while creating your presentation. (2)

Word can benefit from AI. What relevant features and technologies can be introduced in MS Word
by integration of AI concepts as a business move. Justify your answer with arguments and
