REFLECTION PAPER

Research is indeed a challenging subject and for a student like me, this symposium
has in fact turned into an opportunity to learn more about research. I gained a lot of
knowledge from this symposium, and I can definitely utilize it to help my groupmates
complete our research more quickly.
People like them are incredibly beneficial for aspirant students like me because they
made it possible for us to better comprehend the strategies, the methods and additional
information about research.
I did get a lot of knowledge from those long discussions. One of the parts of research
that seems to be challenging for students is the Review of Related Literature. For the best
results of the RRL, we must need to know the best sources to use, and due to the discussion
of Dr. Lauro Aspiras, I am now aware on how to choose the best sources, using Google
Books and Google Scholar as two examples. One of the things I also learnt was how to avoid
plagiarism by using our own words instead of merely using the CTRL and CRTL keys to
copy and paste.
ANOVA, T-Test, Mean, Median, and Mode are examples of statistical tools. Mrs.
Novelyn Mitra, who took part in the discussion, was really beneficial to us as this is the part
that we badly want to know and find challenging. We gained a lot of knowledge from her that
we may use to improve our statistical tool.
For the final one, Dr. Romiro Bautista discusses materials and methods in his part. He
expanded our knowledge about this matter and he made some recommendations on how to
extend our perspectives on research.
