6. TIE BARS IN LONGITUDINAL JOINTS SHALL BE DEFORMED STEEL BARS OF STRENGTH 500 MPa COMPLYING TO IS: 1786,
DETAIL-`C' DETAIL-`D' AS PER CLAUSE 602.6.6 IN MORT&H SPECIFICATION, FIFTH REVISION.
