HEALING

Nowadays, young people often talk about topics such as healing and self-healing.
Especially for those who are in a slumped situation, such as a breakup, divorce, disaster, and
any traumatic event. Even feeling tired of the workload in the office also often makes them
carry out this healing process. They make serious efforts so that the situation can be separated
from their daily lives. Many ways are done in this healing effort, one of which is the most
often done is on vacation.

Although in the translation of the term, this healing means the healing process, when
in fact it is not necessarily. Healing is actually referred to as only recovery, not really healing.
This is because the mental wounds and traumatic experiences experienced by a person cannot
be completely healed one hundred percent. Those mental wounds and traumatic experiences
can't really be recovered one hundred percent. However, we can still slowly forgive so that
when our memory suddenly remembers the worst things, we will immediately accept it.

This healing is actually very beneficial for the life of an individual, regardless of age,
whatever his job, wherever he lives. This is because it is impossible that a person does not
have the traumatic events and emotional wounds that accompany them during life. But
unfortunately, not everyone can do this healing process due to several obstacles. Healing can
make someone wiser in making decisions about their actions and more productive when
doing any work.

The meaning of self-healing in slang is synonymous with taking a vacation or


traveling to a beautiful place. However, that does not mean that going on vacation is healing.
Traveling, vacationing, refreshing, or traveling is one of the ways used to relieve fatigue and
stress. Traveling also gives a moment of respite from the bad situation at hand. This is done
as a recovery process from the sadness that is being experienced and makes the mood calmer.
However, in fact not everyone can go on vacation to beautiful places, anytime and anywhere.
Healing can be done personally or with professional help. If you do it personally, it
can be done with mindfulness (one of the methods used to train someone to focus on their
surroundings and the emotions they feel), forgive yourself, provide me time, meditation (to
make peace with yourself and others who may hurt your mind). you), gratitude by writing
letters (expressing happiness and gratitude for all the kindness that has been received), and
the last is positive self talk.
