well on ICMarket and GlobalPrime. For other pairs you will need to make your own set files.

Optimization strategy with 99% tick Data from Tickstory .

Checking out your broker is key but some brokers like EXNESS, FBS, OCTA, JUSTFOREX They
say they are MARKET but this is because they manipulate the data so be very careful.

remember my spread is very low. So if you don't get the same results as me this is because of
spread or mismatch errors in your DATA. this is why it’s important to optimize your own set-
files for your broker

These are the settings for START/STEP/STOP that I use to optimize the
ea when I am using 99% tick Data make sure not to forget to change
your spread to what it is. my set files that I sent are for 0-5 spread
pair.

Tick Story when exporting data

You can use Tickstory Lite to download 1 year of history for free and import it into mt4 this
is what I do.

Before you export your data you will need to go to the “Metatrader
Info “tab and set up your data correctly for your broker.

Use the load function to load the “.mt4config” file this will import the
correct information from your broker so that you can test more
accurately. To get the .mt4config file all you need to do is go to the
“Help” tab and import the ex4 file that comes with tickstory and run
it.

Once you have deployed the mq4 file to download your tick data you can follow the
instructions on the screen above. After you have the .mt4config file you can then click ok
and start exporting your dat.

When exporting your data. Sure you select “FILTER DUPLICATE TICKS” this will prevent any
mismatch errors.

REMEMBER only EXPORT 1 year or less of data

using free version of tickstory lite.

TOOLS > Launch MT4

Now you are ready to optimize the EA inside of mt4 .
