Read the texts about festivals. Then read the sentences
and write A, B or C.
A KidFest
KidFest is the best festival around for children under eleven! Every year there’s plenty of pop music.
Concerts usually start in the afternoon. The audience loves singing along and cheering. If you like acting,
you can also visit the Kid's Theatre, where you can try on a lot of colourful costumes and work with a
director. If you want to learn all about life in the jungle, visit the Jungle Room. You can eat some wonderful
Italian food before you go home. Sadly, this year there won't be a puppet show.
B Festival X
Festival X has been on for ten years now. It's always a great day out because it’s at the coast. This
year, as well as pop bands, you can hear classical music played by children in The String Room.
There will be some amazing Argentinian dancers on the stage, too. If you like jewellery, visit the
Jewellery Tent, where you can buy beautiful necklaces made of silver or rubber. Also, for the first
time, there will be a funny puppet show given by children.
C Summer Fest
Have you ever listened to Moroccan music? Well, this year at Summer Fest, you can! Visit us if you
want to have fun with your family. Children of all ages can learn how to make birthday cards from
paper and plastic. Or they can visit the Cooking Tent to learn how to make cakes and biscuits. In the
evening, you can watch a play in the Children’s Theatre and then meet the cast backstage. If you’re
hungry, you can eat great Chinese or Japanese food.
