A. APPLICATION
Instruction: Relate the following exercises to real-life situations, then write your answer on the spaces
provided.
A human person is a human that cares one and another to help us grow and grow to beautiful
places but it also takes the lives of the loving trees and nature we destroy everything around us.
Evolutionary creationists believe that God created humans in his image and that God created
humans using natural processes that scientists describe as evolution. How can these beliefs work
together? The precise meaning of the “image of God,” or “imago Dei” in Latin, has been debated
for centuries in the church. It could relate to our unique cognitive abilities, to our spiritual
capacity for a relationship with God, to our commitment to represent God’s kingdom on earth, or
to some combination of these. All of these interpretations may be consistent with the scientific
evidence for evolution. Along with all Christians, we affirm that the image of God is
foundational to Christian thinking about human identity, sanctity of life, stewardship of creation,
bioethics, and other topics.

B. REFLECTION
1. Based on the reading, how would you define your existence as a human person?
I define my existence as a mere being to that of the universe. My existence is only to learn,
embrace and believe. I may be relatively small compared to the expanse of space, but my actions
impact the people of earth.
2. How does the hierarchy of needs guide a person in his/her realization with regard to his/her
competence and abilities?
Our actions are motivated by certain physiological and psychological needs that progress from
basic to complex. Your behavior is highly dependent on your needs. You are motivated to
behave by your need for survival, safety, love, self-esteem, and potential. If you don't have needs
met at a certain level, you will never feel fulfilled. By learning what motivates you, you can
utilize it whenever you need it. The levels of the hierarchy, starting from the base of the pyramid
are: Physiological needs - These are biological requirements for human survival. Examples
include air, food, water, shelter, clothing, warmth, sex, and sleep. Safety needs – Examples
include protection from elements, security, order, law, and stability.

Making a well-informed decision can help you become a more productive employee
because it can save time and help you make better use of resources.
A leader's most important function is to set goals for team members to encourage them to
work confidently and enthusiastically. They also then make strategies to achieve those
goals. Their motive is to create a roadmap for their team members how to direct them on
the right path and help them achieve the set goals.
