As we have visited Pantaloons (Camac Street, Kolkata) and talking to their representative we
came know more about the product variable of this brand. The product available in the store
are high in numbers. They have different sections from Women, Kids and Men. There are
also many other brands like Peter England, LV, etc and they also have sections for formal,
casual, ethnic wear, shoes, etc
The product in the stores is put in such a way that the customers can avail that easily. The
product in the store is also put by looking at the area of the store. It is very difficult of any
fashion to chain to understand the customer likings as it changes very frequently. So, they are
trying to reach the maximum to get feedbacks. The feedbacks are easy to get in the case of
this bran because of the high footfall in their stores.
The product assortment had a major impact in the store. The customer on an average spends
more than 40% in retail when compared to the online platform because of the merchant
assortment.
