This writing shows that we made a study on online grocery shopping that cannot
beat the pleasure of visiting supermarkets. The author of this article is Pamelia Chia
and this article is taken from CNA. Based on this article online grocery shopping
increased because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we've
seen an increase in online grocery shopping. Contemporary manufacture lands on
the doorstep at the clicking of a button, eschewing the requirement for any variety of
human interaction, as well as private relationships. The reason for online shopping
increases is because people are afraid to go out to buy necessities for fear of being
infected with the coronavirus.

This online grocery shopping also causes some glitches experienced by consumers.
Among the issues relating to product quality, the most common downside two-faced
by customers in online shopping is that there's no guarantee of a product’s quality.
With most e-commerce websites acting as aggregators for sellers to sell their
products, a lot of dishonorable sellers are registering on these websites and
marketing low-quality or fake products under the name of original and branded
products. Sub-par products are sold by these sellers to fool customers and increase
their sales, therefore, increasing issues of online shopping. Besides, quality checks
are rarely performed on this merchandise because the magnitude of online sales has
increased, particularly throughout online sale days. Sellers typically refuse to
exchange the faulty product or refund the consumer’s cash, going away with a low-
quality product and money down the drain.

Next, other glitches are payment issues. There are heaps of online shopping issues
faced nowadays. Several customers become victims of online payment problems.
Even though there are many payment ways like internet Banking, Credit or revolving
credit payments, and even Cash-on-delivery, there are payment failures because of
the website’s server error, payment entrance error, or issues with a one-time
password (OTP). Technical glitches usually deduct the payment from the buyer's
account or card. However, the website doesn't receive the payment.

This author prefers to visit supermarkets better than online grocery shopping
because it can connect humans. At the market, people usually would laugh and
greet each other so that the vibes would be lively even if did not know each other.
With this, it can unite the people of various races and it can give many new
acquaintances. In addition, a sense of community can also be felt in that small space
compared to us using online grocery shopping. It can strengthen our friendship with
other communities. Next, online shopping will enable you to interact with folks
however you merely chat with them or talk over with them over the phone. Offline
grocery shopping provides you the expertise of participating in a very oral
communication with the cashier or sharing a tip or two with a fellow mother, whom
you meet. It's a special experience to listen to people talk, see them gesture and
watch them react to what you say.
I strongly agree with this author’s article because everyone will prefer to visit the
supermarket because they want to see the grocery that they want to buy in reality.
For example, if we buy wet food such as fish or vegetables using online purchase we
can’t see whether it is fresh or not. Moreover, visiting supermarkets also can improve
our health because we will walk around the supermarket. More step movements can
control the heart that's why all.
In conclusion, I reaffirm my stand that visiting a supermarket is more joyful better
than online grocery shopping. Therefore, we should reduce online grocery shopping
even if that thing makes it easier for us because when we go self, we will get many
benefits and information for ourselves. In addition, the advantage of buying a grocery
physically is, we can see or know that the items we choose may have a discount. it
can save us on purchases immediately. Shopping at the supermarket also potentially
depends on our intellect. buy what you need and maybe once in a while, you can get
what you do. We must be a wise buyer, for example by providing a list of items we
want to buy so that it can prevent us from overspending and also wasting.
