About the Programme

The objective of the 3-Days Online Faculty Development

Programme (FDP) on Understanding the Nuances of Sponsored
Research Projects is to encourage the faculty members to
procure sponsored research projects from various government
and non-government agencies, in the areas of their expertise, to
help them take-up independent research projects in future. The
programme has been designed to cover the nuances of the
research projects from: identifying a suitable project topic,
preparing the research proposal, identifying suitable funding
agencies to applying for the grant and executing the same after
the project is approved. This FDP also seeks to narrow the gap
between the academic research and real world applied research
that can offer potential for industry interface. The inter-
disciplinary nature of this FDP has takeaways for all faculties
whether from commerce, management, social science or
science. This FDP is an excellent opportunity for faculty members
from diverse subject areas to learn from accomplished experts
who have immense exposure of getting and executing the
sponsored research projects successfully.

• Attendance norms are strict. Participants are required to clear
the assessment component for getting the e-certificates.

• ELIGIBILITY: The programme is interdisciplinary and is open to
all interested participants. All faculty members (Permanent/
Temporary/ Adhoc/ Guest) and Research Scholars from any
university/college are eligible to participate.
