Perfect Sequel to Ponniyin Selvan

A breathtaking novel by Gokul. Was spellbound with respect to the details the author has
given. Aadittha Kariakalan's death is still shrouded in mystery and probably with me for ages
to come. However, the author relies on the Udayarkudi inscription which lists Ravidasan as a
traitor and not enemy, unlike Kalki's Ponniyinselvan.

Author takes the thread from here and has done extensive research of the stone and copper
plate inscriptions to give us this breath taking novel.

The Meikeerthi of Rajaraja Chola boasts about him, winning over powerful kings and
kingdoms and in that list is included a non descript (or was it?) learning centre for martial arts,
at Kandhaloor. What could have made it so special that a win over learning centre gets an
equal mention with powerful kingdoms.

A compelling read, gives answers to these questions. And.... more importantly, the author
