analysis, organization and product/service analysis and choose the operation method for
your new global venture.

Word limit:
Your assignment should be 800 words excluding references. The number of words should be
shown at the end of your assignment.

Criteria for marking:


Group works will be assessed based on the following criteria:

A. GROUP WORK – 10%

(1) Problem Identification - Develops ideas, organizes them logically. Clear and specific
introduction and conclusion.
(2) Critical Thinking – Comprehensive description of issues and assumptions.
(3) Data Analysis – Comprehensive usage of data and use of tools and technique.
(4) Result and discussion - Relevant and thorough discussion, Address all research objectives
and superior findings.
(5) Spelling and Grammar - The writing is error free in terms of spelling and grammar.

(6) Language - Employs words with fluency, develops concise standard English sentences,
and balances a variety of sentence structures effectively.
(7) Quality of Paper - The paper is excellent and demonstrated superior quality.
(8) Construction of Ethical Arguments - Correctly applied all of the relevant moral standards
and ethical principles that are relevant to the case.
(9) Plagiarism - Original work and proper citation.

B. PRESENTATION – 5%

(1) Introduction - Very interesting introduction, addressed audience well.


(2) Content - Information and examples are organized systematically, accurately, relevantly
and completely. Clear summary is provided.
(3) Defense Ability - Able to answer questions very well and confidently. Very well prepared.
(4) Fluency and Clarity - Presenter is very fluent and voice is easy to be heard clearly.
(5) Effective Audio Visual - Visual aids are well usage and are used to make presentation
more interesting and meaningful.
(6) Non-verbal Communication - Presenter able to use excellent body language (appearance,
eye contact and gestures) with everyone.
(7) Time Management - Presentation starts as scheduled. Appropriate length and within time
limit.

C. PEER EVALUATION – 5%

(1) Frequency of participation in group – Consistently participate and routinely volunteers


point of view.
(2) Role performance - Always performs assigned role within the group.
(3) Cooperation - Always interact well within the group and consistently respect other group
members.
(4) Works toward team goals (e.g. Deadlines) – Always consistently work toward team goals
and continually produce high quality work.

Submission details:
Students are required to submit a hardcopy of Report and PowerPoint slides to a lecturer and
a softcopy of report and slides to nurul_aini288@hotmail.com.

Penalties for late lodgment:


A maximum penalty of 10% of the total mark allocated to this assessment will be deducted for
each day that it is late. Students should note that a weekend is 2 days and will be treated as
such when penalties are calculated. After 10 days report and slides will be accepted but will not
be given a mark.
