My vision for the future

A year ago, I came upon a quote, “If who I am is what I have and what I have is lost, then who am I?”
After pondering upon the thought of what would my most valuable asset be, it was education and the
journey I create from it. I think every human is architect of his or her own fortune. I can’t predict
everything about my future. Even a year ago, I could not have thought how much I could accomplish in
the coming year ahead. It mesmerizes me how the future always greets me with new things. To me, the
future is a star. We know it’s there but we will always have ambiguity of its full clarity and that’s what
excites us the most.

As an architect of my own fortune, I like to create my future based on my dreams, hobby and plans.
Science excites me the most and it’s my most passionate hobby. When I watch a scientific documentary,
all my attention is focused on it. When I travel to a museum or dwell in nature, I feel fulfilled and
grateful. Science really gives me an intellectual fulfillment I crave even more. My friends and family
never believe in my potential to become a scientist. My family loves me, but whenever I bring up my
passion to pursue a scientific field, they always bring up the risks. It's as if everyone is trying to make me
understand the millions of impossibilities. But in my heart, all I see is that one possibility, which is my
dream to become a scientist. I want to live a life doing satisfied and fulfilled in what I do. I don't want to
just spend the day in a normal way. It is so regrettable. We can never purchase lost time. Besides being
intellectually interested in science, I also have a larger pursuit of wanting to become an influential person
to humanity, help others and love the environment. Thanks to modern technology, we have a lot of
potential to achieve this. To me, challenges are temporary. I can learn everything from life and overcome
the barriers. I can and will study hard to further unlock the possibilities. If we have the right desire as a
starting point, I believe we can achieve it all.

The first stop towards my goal to become an influential scientist is British School of Ulaanbaatar. BSU
will enable me to learn a lot from great minded people, get equipped with the right tools and resources,
and go beyond my currently existing boundaries. BSU’s culture of supporting intellectual curiosity and
preparing world class citizens really made it my dream school. I am ready to challenge and push myself to
learn everything that BSU has to offer, while also adding my value to the incredible community. I
strongly believe that BSU will be a strong platform for me to pursue science later at Cambridge
University or Oxford University. I'm ready to experience new things, do new things, and meet new
people.
