Dear Students,
The Mid Term Practical Examination will be held from 2nd November 2022 to
8th November 2022. All the students are here by informed to attend the practical
exam in their respective batches with out fail. No separate practical examination for
the absentees.
I PUC
EXPERIMENTS
1. Estimation of sodium hydroxide using standard oxalic acid solution.
2. Estimation of hydrochloric acid using standard sodium carbonate solution.

VIVA EXPERIMENTS
1. Study of Bunsen burner and glass work.
2. Purification techniques
a) Determination of melting point of a solid
b) Determination of boiling point of a liquid
c) Recrystallization technique

II PUC
EXPERIMENT
1. Systematic inorganic qualitative analysis of a given simple salt.

VIVA EXPERIMENT
Functional group tests for organic compounds
(Ref. Page no – 58 to 65 in the manual)
NOTE - ALLOTMENT OF MARKS
1 Experiments – 20 Marks.
2 Viva – 4 Marks.
3 Practical record + Attendance + Performance in the Lab – 6 Marks
Total – 30 Marks
