9. Last night I was at my friend’s house to watch movie in Netflix with her. The film
was about astronaut armies who stayed in the outer space to guard the earth from
the aliens. It was a two-hour action- filled movie and we both enjoyed it. It was almost
midnight so I told my friend that I need to get home.
Our house was just near and I was glad that the moon was bright. Suddenly,
everything went black! When I looked back, three ladies with long hair appeared. They
were floating in the air. White ladies! I ran as I screamed, “Help! Help!”
“Trina, wake up!” mother said. “Here, have a glass of water. You are having a
bad dream.”
There was a little dog named Max who lived in a mansion. Max was well-fed and
loved dearly by his owner. The owner regularly bathes and brush his teeth so he will
stay clean and healthy.
One day while they were walking in the neighborhood, Max’s leash loosened and
he ran away to go to another house where a pretty dog named Jessie lived. His owner
kept looking for him and calling his name but Max didn’t care. Soon the owner gets
tired and went home.
When Jessie’s owner saw Max with her, he drove Max away and tried to hit him
with a stick. Max was so scared and ran away.
He went home but the gate was already closed. He barked and barked but
nobody opened the gate. Soon it was night time. Max had to sleep in a cold cement
outside the gate hoping that tomorrow the gate would be opened early to let him in.
One Sunday afternoon, Fred was watching the national news with his parents in their
sala.
The reporter announced that there was an increase in the number of COVID19 cases
not only in the Philippines but in other countries also. The government advised the residents
not to go to crowded places.
In an interview, the Health Secretary reminded the citizens to strictly observe health
protocols to avoid getting infected. “I am encouraging children of school age too, to get
vaccinated against COVID 19 for their protection,” the Health Secretary added.
“Fred, I will bring you to the health center tomorrow so you will be vaccinated,” mother said.
