❖ Review the purpose of the task force: Re-establish advisory to
➢ Build a more cohesive 7-12 climate (7-12 being in 1 building)
➢ Improve college and career exploration and planning
➢ Integrate social emotional learning & executive functioning
➢ Reinforce school pride using Tiger Way

❖ Re-Cap JUNE 4th Meeting: Identify needs based on the purpose of the task force
➢ College & Career Readiness
➢ Social Emotional Learning & Executive Functioning: self-awareness, self-management,
etc.
➢ 7-12 climate and being in 1 building, including transitions from grade level…
➢ Reinforce school pride using Tiger Way (Teamwork, Inclusion, Grit, Excellence,
Respect) including inclusive culture (beliefs & values)
➢ Info on vaping - making healthy choices which could be under excellence & respect
➢ LGBT+ and racism etc will be another committee

■ No advisory on 2 hour late start days
■ Every week, every other week, or 1 time per month
■ What day of the week?
■ How long? (old schedule was 30 minutes)
■ No advisory on district wide late start weeks

➢ Only do some of Naviance - don’t do all
➢ Self-assessment through FASTbridge Sabers for social emotional - currently have
access 7-9
➢ Myers Briggs & Learning Styles Inventory
➢ Naviance does have a way to create pre/post-test
➢ Potentially taking ASVAB (3 hours)
➢ Games/Activities - connect with TIGER WAY

➢ Is there Explore, ASVAB, or another assessment/tool to help students figure out their
interests/pathway
