The loitering culture among students as early in a primary school until the higher
lever institution is still a critical issue. Education plays a crucial role in molding the
future of youths. Schools are painstakingly at work in producing bright youth students.
However, the current generation of students would rather gain popularity than to work
hard. Parental self-conscious and often quarreled differ understand fear ad boredom
among children. Loitering is become rampant among them. Some even skip to loiter. As
a junior high school teacher and you have closely observed several times the loitering
your three students and their respective low performances in your class. You
understand that more than yourself, you have the guidance counselor to refer to. How
are you going to handle this problem?
First and foremost, we cannot undermine the power of education. It is very
important to give serious attention to children. It is very important to give serious
attention to the students. As a teacher, we ought to instill the importance of studying
hard for the sake of the bright future of our students. Sometimes, the student didn’t
understand the possible outcomes of their action in present. Perhaps, by listening to
both parents and teachers, students will be able to realize that they need to work hard
in studying to improve their lives in the future. Parents must pay attention to all the
movements of the children. This duty should be done with examples and everyday
practices.
As a teacher I should strive to include new methods in teaching in their daily
lesson, so that loitering will be lessen and the students will have the courage to study
hard for their future. The teaching techniques should always be upgraded to suits the
changing needs of the students. By doing so, the lesson in class becomes more
interesting to study. It is always the best to avoid conflicts because once they have
started, they are very hard to control. Lastly, schools and the community could organize
more interesting activities after school hours. If something interested is happening,
many students would be attracted to participate. Co-curricular activities in school should
also be more relevant and interesting in order to captivate their attention.
Administration and teachers are hoping to prevent students from loitering in the
near future. The problem of loitering has plagued many schools for a long time.
Loitering can be solved if steps are taken immediately to curb it. The youth’s are our
nations future leaders and should be taken care of to insure a brighter future of our
nation.
