Response
There is no maximum number of
participants that can take part as a
consortium. However, when expressing
interest, the consortium must nominate
and authorize one firm as the lead firm,
which will be the sole representative that
will interact directly with the recruiting
party.
"Provisional Sums" consist of cost
estimates made by the Client for non-
competitive parts of the bid. They usually
cover costs which the consulting firm
would administer on behalf of the Client,
but for which no competitive quote is
expected at the time of the initial bidding
and which will not be considered as part of
any financial evaluation. Provisional sums
generally cover items such as equipment,
workshops, seminars and studies, surveys,
or similar expenses.
These will be elaborated during the
Request for Proposal (RFP) stage, after
the EOI stage. Only shortlisted firms will
receive the request for proposal,
containing detailed instructions and cost
estimates.
The consultant, when requested to submit
proposal, will incorporate this sum in the
proposal.
