Affirmative.

Teachers' challenges when teaching students with communication disorders

include Oral barriers, Perception barriers, and listening barriers. These barriers have

occurred in my presence, and I have heard many other students stating that the obstacles

mentioned above face their teachers.

Yes. I know of someone who has a communication disorder. The individual is faced with

a speech disorder, to be specific, an articulation disorder. Additions characterize his way

of speaking, substitutions or distortions thus, and they have trouble saying words.

Unfortunately, the impacts of these disorders include: low self-esteem,

miscommunication, and increased chances of being bullied by other students

Yes, I have heard someone with an English language problem. The main problem that the

individual faces are miscommunication. When trying to communicate with another

person speaking English, he might not understand the other person, primarily if he/she

uses a variation of the English language that he does not understand. Moreover, some

words might be unknown to him, therefore wholly missing out on what is being

communicated to him.

Yes, I have been in a place where I had to communicate but could not speak. Non-verbal

cues and sign language came in handy in this situation. Since some common signs and

signals have many meanings, it took a lot of time to get the message across. Moreover,

the receiver of the message still missed something important while sending the message.

It was also tiresome, and it became boring trying to make the receiver of the message

understand.

Conditions that can lead people who stutter to loss of control include: anxiety, fear, anger,

and hostility from the external environment make a person lose his control thus find
themselves continuously stuttering. Hostility from the atmosphere involves being mocked

by friends and left out by family or friends during an individual, therefore treated as an

outcast. This thus causes the person to engage in avoidance which eventually leads to a

lack of control.

A teacher can help their students to improve their communication by showing them love

which makes the students feel close to the teacher, engaging the students in other

different ways of communication that they find comfortable and, group sessions with

students who have the same problem to make them not to feel alone.

With this information we have in mind, it brings in an expanse of ideas to make sure

communication channels are formulated. Learning through group discussion and one on

one lessons by teachers can be able to enhance the K12 classroom setting
