METAPHYSICAL
- if god created everything then why is there evil
- theology uses the bible and reason while philosophy is not dependent in the bible
- Good is anything that IS - being
- Anything that is a being is good
- whatever that has an is is good and vice versa because it is created by God
- Evil is the absence of Isness

- The is is related to the intellect in terms of its knowing/knowability. And the is is related to the good in
terms of its intentionality/desirability
- The ultimate good is god and the ultimate knowable being is god

PHYSICAL
- Physical good is anything that is an object, end, a goal, of human inclination or instinct or tendency
- Knowledge is a physical good
- Any goal, end, are good
- We are potencia to infinite perfection - potentia obenedtialis
- Evil is the absence of physical good - walay gusto manguyab sa imo, hunger
- Money is instrumental and a physical good

MORAL GOOD AND EVIL


- Moral good is anything that is virtuous
- The possession of moral virtues - honesty,\
- Evil that is contrary to the good -

THREE KINDS OF LAWS


- The end doesn't justify the means - ex abortions

- No significance of morality
- Doing it doesn't make you moral and vice-versa
- There are laws that are moral but not all
- Changeable
- If it is contrary to the moral law, it is not binding
2. Religious - laws that govern religious worship
3. Moral - Universal law. The real command of God
