SPECIALTY DIVISIONS – The Institute has five (6) Specialty Divisions in the areas of STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING,
TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING, WATER ENGINEERING, GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING, PROJECT
MANAGEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING and ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENERGY ENGINEERING which
shall serve as the technical arms of the Institute at the national level. Activities of the Specialty Divisions shall
include but not limited to:
a) periodic assessment of the quality of practice;
b) setting of standards and practices;
c) preparations of CPE programs for direct implementation and/or implementation by the various chapters;
d) administration of technical sessions during national conventions, conferences and seminars; and
e) identification of recipients of PRC Certificate of Recognition.
2. No Examination - Applicants with at least 15 years experience in, or with a doctoral degree in, Environmental
Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Engineering, Energy Management, or Environmental Planning,
are not required to take a written examination but will be subject to an interview by the concerned
Committee of the Specialty Division.
6. The PICE National Secretariat shall receive all applications for accreditation and is tasked to verify the
authenticity of documents and information submitted.
