Day 1. If you could change the world, what would you do and why?

There are a lot of people out there who are suffering from starvation, homelessness, or diseases. On
the other hand, there are still bad people who are terrorism, murders, or rapes. People would still be
miserable if these kinds of people still existed, so if I got a chance to change the world, I would take
action to change the way we live. I want everyone live happy and peaceful. It would be unfair that
there are people who are suffering greatly while the bad guys who are reason behind of fear, pain is
still outlaws. If I wanted to do that, I would have to improve security forces and promulgate new
laws that bring justice to people who deserve it. However, it would be absurd if I could change the
world, but I will try to do what I can.

Day 2. Children should be able to use cellphones in school

Some people think that it is not advisable for children to use cellphones in school, but I think using
cellphones in school can bring some advantages for children. First, cellphones help children to
contact their parents directly in the event of an emergency situation. This is great pros because it
puts parents at ease knowing their child can contact them whenever needed. If parents want to
change pick up location, they can be in touch with their child. Second, children can use their
cellphones as a tool to help them in academics. Cellphones have internet, camera, and calculator
that can be used for learning purposes. Children can use camera to take a picture of the notes on the
board if there is not time to write down. However, there may still have some disadvantages of using
cellphones. Children can text during class time, or they can using their cellphones to for cheating. In
short, we have to teach children how to use cellphones in class properly.

Day 3. Write a story about a young boy who loves cooking

I have a cousin who is only 16 years old, but he loves cooking so much. Almost every time I see him,
he was in the kitchen, he loves to cook variety of foods. Whenever I came to my uncle’s house, he
would make some foods for me. It didn’t matter as to whose house that he was in, he would always
be in the kitchen. Once he came to my house, and he asked where the kitchen was as soon as he
walked into my house. I was very surprised. He always asked if there was something that he could do
to help in the kitchen. The food he cooks is really delicious. He won first prize in a school cooking
competition. As far as I know, he started studying to be a chef. I hope he will get far in life becoming
a chef.

Day 4. When was a time you felt you were treated unfairly? How did it make you feel?

I were treated unfairly when I was in middle school. I was used to being a good student, so my
classmates often borrowed my homework to copy. Usually, I would ignore it because I thought it
didn’t matter to me. Until once, my class president borrowed my essay. He said that at that time, he
had been very busy so he couldn’t make it in time. I didn’t hesitate to lend it to him, but I was very
surprised because he copied my essay exactly even though I told him not to do that. Whatever came
must came, teacher called us out to talk privately. I tried to explain that I didn’t copy his essay, but
the teacher didn’t listen to me because my class president is her son. I was very upset and helpless
at that time. Since then, I have never lent my homework to anyone.

Day 5. It is generally agreed that society benefits from the work of its members. Compare the
contributions of artists to society with the contributions of scientists to society. Which type of
contribution do you think is more valued by your society? Give specific reasons to support your
answer.
Any society is developed by the contributions of artists and scientists. Although artists and scientists
contribute some common qualities, they make very difference types of contributions to our society.

The contributions of artists and scientists are similar in some points. First, they contribute to
people’s development by making them more knowledgeable. Second, they can make us understand
the customs and traditions of that country. Through that, they can reflect the culture of the nation.

However, there are some differences between the contributions of artists and scientists. Artists can
use art to form person’s spiritual sense and show who we are. People can learn about history, the
traditions of their country through the art. Performing artist entertain us. We watch movies for
entertainment and extend our range of interest. Artists take our minds off our troubles, and they
also help keep society mentally and emotionally healthy because they provide us with a means of
expression. So that the works of artist provide entertainment and help people relax. While the works
of scientists help improve our material lives in many ways. All of things including cars, computers, or
appliances, are all results of the hard work of scientists. Moreover, the works of artists require a lot
of talent and special skills to help people escape from the reality, whereas the works of scientists
require knowledges of science.

In short, I believe that the contributions of artists and scientists both are valuable for people, so we
can’t compare one of them.
